This month brought some exciting news! Align Interior Design has been named one of the Top 3 Interior Designers and Decorators in Maple Ridge, BC by Three Best Rated.
Being recognized in our community alongside other exceptional designers is truly an honor, and what makes it especially meaningful is the process behind it. Three Best Rated uses a 50-point inspection to evaluate businesses, looking at reputation, reviews, trustworthiness, cost, and overall customer satisfaction. For us, being highlighted through such a detailed review means our values of transparency, care, and education-first design are resonating in the community we call home.

Why This Recognition Matters
When I started Align Interior Design, I wanted to build more than a design firm. My goal was to create a place where homeowners felt informed, confident, and supported at every step of their renovation journey. Recognition like this affirms that our mission to “educate first, create second” goes beyond our own walls and into the lives of the families we work with.
Design, at its heart, is about helping clients make smart and confident decisions that fit their lifestyle, their budget, and their vision of home. Seeing this philosophy reflected in a community award reminds me that we’re on the right path.

Nearly all of our work comes from referrals. That’s something I’m deeply proud of, because it means that the trust we build with our clients and partners carries forward long after a project ends. This recognition from Three Best Rated feels like an extension of those relationships. It wouldn’t be possible without the homeowners who invite us into their lives and the contractors, trades, and suppliers who collaborate alongside us.

For many homeowners, the biggest barrier is the perception that design services are only for full-scale projects or luxury budgets. We want to change that.
Align Interior Design continues to innovate by offering valuable resources and making professional-level design more accessible. That’s why we created our downloadable bathroom design guides: complete with contractor-ready plans, curated finishes, and step-by-step guidance designed for homeowners who want the confidence of working with a professional without the full-service investment. If you’re interested, you can explore the available bathroom packages here.
AND we’re just getting started. Our downloadable kitchen design package is on the way, designed to offer the same accessibility, clarity, and practicality. Subscribers will get early access and exclusive discounts, so keep an eye on your inbox if you’d like to be first in line.
Our Podcast Series
We also launched a 9-episode podcast series that offers a transparent look at what it’s really like to work with a designer. From renovation costs to avoiding common pitfalls, the series is meant to equip homeowners with knowledge they can use right away.
We were also featured on the Quay Insights Podcast, where I shared some of our most practical renovation tips. If you’re curious, you can tune in on Spotify or YouTube.
Tip Of The Day
Because education is at the heart of what we do, here’s one simple but powerful question to ask any interior designer before you hire them:“What do you need from me, and when do you need it?”
This simple question reveals how organized and proactive a designer is, and whether their process aligns with your needs. You can find more helpful questions in this blog post. We also break down other practical renovation topics, like building permits, that often confuse first-time renovators.
This recognition from Three Best Rated is a reflection of the values we live by: trust, education, and collaboration. As we continue to grow in Maple Ridge and beyond, our mission remains the same: to make interior design approachable, empowering, and deeply personal.
To our clients, collaborators, and community “Thank you!” This recognition belongs as much to you as it does to us. Here’s to continuing to create homes that are not only beautiful, but also approachable, functional, and personal.
