Will this work for my bathroom layout?
Yes, each design guide includes layouts for both a 3-piece bathroom (vanity, toilet, tub) and a 4-piece bathroom (vanity, toilet, tub, and separate shower). You’ll see how the style flexes between these common layouts, so even if your bathroom is slightly different, you’ll still be able to adapt it with confidence.
Does this include drawings and measurements?
We don’t include custom-scaled drawings or technical elevations, because every space is unique. Instead, we provide clear layout visuals with helpful guidelines (like minimum clearance requirements around fixtures) so you can check that standard vanities and prefab pieces will work in your space. We also include general dimensions for plumbing rough-ins and lighting heights, which gives your contractor a solid starting point to adjust the plan to your room.
How detailed are the specs (product info)?
They include everything you need! Supplier info, product model number, sizing, finish info, finished edge details and more.
The only thing we don't include is quantities- that's up to you. For example; we provide all the tile specs and details needed but we don't tell you how much to order. That's because every tiler requires different waste allowances (extra for cut offs) and we don't know your exact room size. So we leave that up to you or your contractor. Same thing for paint, we provide the product type, colour and sheen we recommend but we don't tell you how many gallons to buy.
Can my contractor work from this?
Yes, these guides are designed with contractors in mind. We’ve included trade-friendly notes, standard rough-in locations, and practical installation tips so your contractor will know exactly how to bring the design to life. They’ll have everything they need to move forward. These are the perfect guides for bathrooms where you are just upgrading the finishes and NOT changing the layout. (If you are changing the layout, you might need more customized solutions as well as a building permit package, there for anything with a layout change is better suited for our full-service design package offering. Contact us at info@alignid.ca if you have any questions).
Is this like hiring a designer?
Not exactly, but it’s the next best thing. These are professionally developed design packages created by a certified interior designer. You’re getting the same level of thought, detail, and design intention we use in our custom projects, just in a ready-made format that’s more affordable and accessible.
Will this work for my budget?
In most scenarios, YES!. We’ve intentionally selected materials that balance style and cost, including tile options under $12 per square foot (usually lower) and a mix of prefab and custom vanity suggestions. There are no surprise splurges, unless you choose to add one.
What if I live outside Canada?
That’s not a problem. Most of the products are available throughout North America. And if something’s out of stock or not available in your area, it’s easy to swap in a similar finish.- We teach you how to appropriate swap a material or fixture while keeping your design cohesive. The video and tips resources provided included a lot of value outside of just the material and fixture selections.
What if I need help with installation?
Installation guidance isn’t included. These are design packages, not step-by-step install manuals. You’ll still need a qualified contractor to handle the physical install.

These guides don’t include custom room dimensions or exact tile quantities. Those will need to be confirmed by you or your contractor based on your actual space.
These are not step-by-step installation manuals, so specific how-to instructions (like waterproofing details) are not included.
This is not a substitute for hiring a qualified contractor or trades (plumbers, electricians, tilers etc). You’ll still need a professional to install and build everything safely and correctly.
This guide is not a 1:1 design service. It’s a high-quality, ready-to-use digital resource created to give you clarity, and a strong design plan to work from. They are perfect for bathrooms where your general layout is staying the same and you are simply upgrading your finishes to have that elevated bathroom you have been dreaming of.
