This full home renovation in the Lower Mainland was designed for a busy family who wanted a space that could better support everyday routines, entertaining, and long-term living without increasing the home’s footprint. In the kitchen, the focus was on improving flow and functionality by removing a segmented pantry and rethinking the layout to allow multiple people to use the space comfortably at once. A full-height cabinetry wall now conceals a walk-in pantry, integrated appliances, and a retractable coffee bar, helping the space feel clean and organized while still offering ample storage. The large island was designed as a central gathering space for casual dining and connection, while clearly defined prep, cooking, and cleanup zones make day-to-day use feel intuitive and efficient.
Throughout the home, each space was thoughtfully reimagined to support how the family lives both now and in the future. The fireplace was redesigned as a full-height focal point to anchor the main living area, while the primary ensuite was transformed into a calm, spa-inspired retreat with a reworked shower designed for comfort and ease of use. In the primary bedroom, a custom window seat creates a quiet place to unwind, adding both function and character. Every decision was grounded in creating a home that feels cohesive, easy to maintain, and built to support long-term living.
