This kitchen and bathroom renovation was designed to create a more connected, functional home that supports the rhythm of everyday life. By removing the wall between the kitchen and dining area, the space now feels open and continuous, allowing natural light to flow through and making it easier for cooking, working, and gathering to happen at the same time. The island was reconfigured to improve prep space and circulation, creating a central hub where meals are prepared, laptops open, and conversations naturally unfold.
To keep the space both functional and streamlined, a full-height cabinetry wall integrates a built-in desk, coffee station, beverage storage, and pantry into one cohesive feature. Even an existing structural column was seamlessly worked into the millwork so it reads as part of the design. Warm wood tones paired with clean surfaces create a balance of texture and simplicity, resulting in a modern kitchen renovation that feels practical, inviting, and designed around how the homeowners live. The bathroom was updated with the same approach, focusing on ease of use, durability, and a calm, everyday experience.
